There are two communties that I enjoy supporting. One is the dance community, and the other is the autism community. In the 8th grade, I decided to form a charity to collect gently used dance costumes and give them back to the dance community. I named my charity Second Chance Dance. I also became an ambassador for Traveling Tutus, Inc. which allows me to donate my costumes to other parts of the world in Africa and Asia.

I also volunteer every summer to an autism surfing camp, run by Surfers Healing. Both of my brothers have autism, so this annual event is really important to me. My role is to organize the other student volunteers, and help the children with life jackets, and calm them before they enter the water with a pro surfer. It is an incredible experience that I look forward to every year.
